I think it is better to be a full time student that to be a part time student and work part time. I say this because I believe there is more responsibilities, challenges and stress if you work part time and go to school part time. If one is a full time student, he or she can have more time and energy to do his or her schoolwork. In addition, a full time student can have better concentration on his or her studies. It is also can have more time with his classmates and go to tutoring center and get help. If someone has questions to his teacher he or she can have time to do that. However, if one goes to school part time and works part time, he or she can have more challenges to achieve her or his goals. Besides there is not enough time to finish your schoolwork. When you also come home from work, you can be tired and you do not have enough energy to do your assignments especially if you have many assignments. One can also have less motivation to read or write because he can be exhausted. In addition, it takes longer to graduate if you go to school part time. I prefer to go school as a full time student if you can afford it. To be a full time student you need support in daily life and it is not easy to do that. You do not survive only by going to school. You need to work to pay the bills and support yourself and your family. I have friends who go to school part time and work part time as well. They tell me how difficult it is to be good in both areas all the time. They tell me sometimes they have to miss work because of the exams and they are afraid not to lose their jobs.

Telephone is the most important technological piece in my life. This is because I have strong contacts with my family and friends who are far away from me. I have many family members and friends who live in Africa and Europe. I feel happier and more satisfied when I talk to them on the phone than when I write them a letter or send them e-mails. My parents are very happy to hear my voice and so do I. I also have family members who can not write or read, but they can call and talk to me. In addition, it is a lot faster to send your message when you talk to somebody on the phone. If you send an e-mail to someone, you can be sure he or she will check his or her e-mail on time. It also takes longer time if you send a letter. I myself often prefer to call to sending e-mails or letters. However, I also send mails and e-mails if it is not urgent. Moreover, nowadays, people have easier access to telephone than internet. Everyone has a home phone or a cell phone and it is easier to reach people everywhere.

The phone is very useful for emergency situations. If you have a problem, it is more comfortable or helpful to solve your problem in a faster way. For example, in many countries they will advise you to call 911 for emergency help. I agree with them because phone is a lot faster to get help. in addition, you save plenty of time and stress through the use of phone when you want to check on your family members and especially children. Despite the cost of phone use it is worth having a phone at home and if possible a cell phone.

My opinion is that boys and girls should go to the same schools or classes. This is because boys and girls can learn from each other. I myself went to a mixed school from elementary to a high school. I feel more comfortable than the students who did not go to mixed schools. For example, in my home town we had both mixed and separate school. The separate schools were up to eighth school, but the mixed schools were up to a high school. The students who went to separate schools had to go to mixed schools when they had finished the eighth grade.
I had the chance to meet those students in my school when I was in high school. I thought they were different than the students who went to the mixed schools. They used to be shy to sit at the same desk with the opposite sex during classes. They used to prefer to sit with the same sex. However, they seemed to be more focused on their studies. I think they had poor social skills than the students who went to mixed schools.
Finally, I am in favor of mixed schools this is because my experience with mixed schools was excellent. I was happy with my classmates and we used to play together. I did not see the difference between boys and girls. We used to be like brothers and sisters and we treated each other with respect. Besides we used to support each other with our homeworks and had great fun.

Funny in Farsi

I have really enjoyed reading this book "Funny in Farsi". I was not bored to read it and I found it very understandable. I was reading it with great enthusiasm and finished with a happy feeling. This book helps me to know more vocabularies and to improve my reading and writing speed. I also learned what a memoir is and it motivated me to write my memoir in the future. Besides I enjoyed the book actvities and assignments. It helps me to understand the whole book and to samarize in my own words. My group was excellent and everyone was participating and ready to explain or discuss about the assignment chapters. Finally, I enjoyed reading this book and the humor in it.

Family Power

A family that love one another is like a rock. Life can be challenging and it is not all the time easy and smooth. There can be health and financial problems. For example, nowadays many people lose their home because they can pay their morgages. Some can also be diangonsed with serious health problems and do not have health insurance. However, if one has a loving and supporting family members, they can overcome their obstacles. I am grateful of my family because of them I am here in the USA and going to school as well. I have a big support of my husband and parents. They can wait to see me succeed in my school. Besides I always call them if I need help and I know that I will get it. It is good to know that you have someone around you and support you. I am glad I have my family because I believe the power of a family love is very strong and helpful.

The Cross

Identity is a powrful word for me. This is because it explains who you are and what you believe in. My faith in Jesus Christ the one expression of my identity. As a Christian I believe in the Cross of Jesus Christ. I came from a Christian family and my people have been worshipping in Jesus Christ for a long time. According to Christian teachings Christ died on the Cross and saved the world. The Cross is very important to all Christians and to me as well. In my family we make the sign of the Cross before and after we eat our meals. In addition, we also make the sign of the Cross when we begin our trips. Among my people the Cross is so important that some even make a tatto of the Cross on their foreheads. It is very common for Christian women to wear Zuryaz (traditional dress) with the sign of th cross. My belief in Jesus Christ and the Cross is my identity.

My Bedroom

I always sleep in my bedroom which is not very big, but a very comfortable and relaxing place. In my bedroom I have one queen size bed and two light stands and a dresser. Besides I have my son's crib next to my bed in order to check on him at night. My bedroom has two big windows and two light shinny brown curtains. The room also has one big closet which I keep my clothes in. Moreover, the bedroom walls are painted with white color and the floor is covered with very light brown carpet. On top of my bed there is a traditional handmade carpet and a sword and two beautiful handmade vases made of beads. There is also a colorful makeup container made of beads as well. I got these from my mother-in-law. In addition to, I have a cross and a rosary hanging on the wall. My baby's picture and my wedding frame picture are the light standing next to my bed. The only place I feel relaxed and rested is my bedroom especially when I am tired. I always keep my bedroom fresh with scented candles.
